Meet the Co-Founder: Ronewa Mudzanani

From the village of Vhurivhuri to the global stage — Ronewa’s journey proves that disability is not a limitation, but a different kind of strength.

Early Life Story

Born to Rise

Ronewa was born with cerebral palsy and scoliosis in Limpopo, South Africa.

He grew up in a society that saw his body before it saw his potential — but that didn’t stop him. Through adversity, Ronewa found purpose. In a boarding school for learners with disabilities, he was introduced to wheelchair tennis, and everything changed.

His determination turned into victory, not only on the court but in life.

The Mission Was Born

After witnessing the daily struggles of people in rural communities without basic mobility support, Ronewa knew action was no longer optional.

Alongside two purpose-driven co-founders, he helped establish Wheels Life Changer — a bridge between need and dignity, between isolation and movement.

What began as one man’s pain became a platform. What began as a mission has become a movement — one that leaves no one behind.

Mobility gave me purpose. Now I give that purpose back.” — Ronewa Mudzanani.
